T M KRISHNA - musician and musicologist
Recently , I listened to some recordings of Carnatic vocalist T M Krishna .
He has a very special style which cannot be seen in contemporary Carnatic
musicians . Some of his renderings remind us of his guru , late Semmangudi
Sreenivasa Iyer. I am trying to collect all recordings of T M Krishna . He is also
a musicologist .His book ' A Southern Music : The Karnatic Story ' is a
comprehensive study of all forms of music ; light music , western music ,
Hindustani music , folk music etc . The major part of the book is devoted to
